I'm journalist, photographer, traveler and whatever comes on my way... I've being writing and shooting since 1994, and so far I believe I have done a good deal of it. My work has featured in some of the most influential press Medias from Brazil, my home country, as the major newspaper Folha de S.Paulo, as well as magazines and websites to where I got the chance to cover and write stories from the Sao Paulo’s slums to politics, from fashion shows to movie criticism.

Since 1999, I’ve been on and off between New York and Sao Paulo, and right now I’m currently established in the States, from where I've been contributing to Warner Music Brazil, interviewing their major artists to the Brazilian press, and of course, I’ve been trying to find my way around. So far, my work has featured at Time Out NY magazine, and the no long active hipster website NY24H.com. Currently I’m an intern at the prestigious Magnum Photo Agency, and I guess I’ll keep going…

About photography, I can say is one of my favorite things, and I've been into it for over nine years, since I got in a darkroom for the first time. Anyway I believe the flow started when I was little going through my grandpa's pictures back from the 20's. He didn't mind caring around heavy glass plates, part of the early days of photography, to hold the time. That's why somehow every time I take a picture I think of the impact they will have on future generations... sweet, right!? I guess it helps me to capture the vibe.
